Yantus Helen

Yantus, Helen, 89, Central City, died October 20, 2017. Born July 4, 1928, the daughter of Harry and Fannie Turko. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Steve; sisters, Ann, Elsie, Mary, and infant sisters, Charlotte and Catherine; brothers, John, Charles “Bud”, Andrew “Gin.” Helen was the last surviving member of the Turko family. Survived by children, JoAnn; Stephen J. (Lucinda); Michael (Kimberly), all of Central City; Diane, Virginia. Grandchildren, Sherrie Collins, Stephanie Sunderhaus, Stephen III, Jason, Jarrett, and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews including Donna and Michael Kubek. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City.
