William D. Gahagen

Gahagen, William D., 71, Cairnbrook, died September 10, 2019 at home.  Born May 14, 1948, the son of Harry D. and Pearl Gahagen.  Preceded in death by father; sister, Harriet; and mother and father-in-law, Bessie and John Kubala.  Survived by mother; wife, Mary Kay; children, Christopher W. (Shanel), NC; Dwain T., Pittsburgh; Heidi (Michael) Niessner, Richland Twp.; grandchildren, Alex, Gracie, Mary, Brenden, Liam and Hailey; sisters, Carol (John) Hostetler; Joan (Frank) Popovich; Dolores (Michael) Goga;  brother, Ted (Doris); brother-in-law, Jim Konitsky; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded two Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm.  Visitation and committal at Daley Cemetery will be private to the family.  Fr.
