Gahagen, William D., 71, Cairnbrook, died September 10, 2019 at home. Born May 14, 1948, the son of Harry D. and Pearl Gahagen. Preceded in death by father; sister, Harriet; and mother and father-in-law, Bessie and John Kubala. Survived by mother; wife, Mary Kay; children, Christopher W. (Shanel), NC; Dwain T., Pittsburgh; Heidi (Michael) Niessner, Richland Twp.; grandchildren, Alex, Gracie, Mary, Brenden, Liam and Hailey; sisters, Carol (John) Hostetler; Joan (Frank) Popovich; Dolores (Michael) Goga; brother, Ted (Doris); brother-in-law, Jim Konitsky; and a number of nieces and nephews. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded two Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm.
