Adomnik, Walter “Punky”, 96, Manns Choice, died December 15, 2017 at home. Born November 4, 1921, the son of Stanley and Anna Adomnik. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Virginia; infant daughter, Anna Louise; brothers, John, Joseph, Stanley, Frank, Anthony, Casmere and Michael; sisters, Nellie, Stella, Mary, Verna, Frances and infant sister, Josephine. Survived by children, Walter Jr. (Ruth); Linda (Kenneth) Topka; Frank (Joyce); Rick (Mary Ann), Betty Ann (Thomas) Yatta; and Steven (Sandra). Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. Punky was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady Queen of Angels (Sacred Heart), Fr. Aron Maghsoudi. Committal, Schellsburg Cemetery.
