Verna Chappell

Chappell, Verna, 79, Cairnbrook, died April 15, 2018.  Born November 19, 1938, the daughter of Mike and Mary Youhas.  Preceded in death by parents; son, Charles R. Jr.; brothers, John, George, Mike, and Joe; sisters, Helen and Alice.  Survived by husband, Charles “Red”; sons, Michael, Brockport; Christopher (Linda), Greensburg; and Eric (Dixie), VA.; grandchildren, Cassidy, Jordan, Madison, Logan and Emerson; sisters, Pauline Oldham, Windber; and Margaret Donahue, Johnstown; and a number of nieces, nephews and in-laws, especially Marion (Henry) Zurenda.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home where brief service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday followed at 10 a.m. by Divine Liturgy at SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Miles Zdniak and Deacon Oleg Aminov.  Committal, parish cemetery.
