Foltz, Tory Lane, Somerset, 6 months, passed away peacefully in his mom and dad’s arms May 9, 2024 at Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital, the son of Taylor Foltz and Jessica Lewis. Tory is survived by parents; sisters, Kaylee and Everly Lewis; grandmothers, Michele and Robyn; uncle, Zachary, and numerous relatives. Though just a newborn child, Tory fought as the strongest warrior against multiple illnesses. His six month journey in the ICU at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh taught the world courage, faith, and an unconditional love that will never be forgotten. In such a brief time Tory brought communities together and was a testament to being one of God's miracles to Earth. Tory enjoyed books, stuffed animals, and his mom and dad's snuggles. He may have only been on earth a brief time but he experienced an entire lifetime of love. Mom, dad and your big sisters love you Tory bug, and we all know you are in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus. Your fight is over, sweet boy.
We want to thank the staff of CHP ICU and everyone else at Children’s for the love given to Tory during his stay there. We would also like to thank every single person who prayed like never before. Our faith was strengthened because of you and that is what got our family through the toughest of times. We also would like to thank the CHP families who lifted us up throughout their own journeys, and allowed us to be a part of theirs. You all are in the perfect place for the utmost care of your child.
A public visitation will be held on Tuesday May 14th from 11 am to 2 pm at the Mulcahy Funeral Home. Following the visitation a luncheon will be provided at Our Lady Queen of Angels Activity Center. At the family’s request visitors are asked to wear bright colors. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations of stuffed animals and children’s books be brought to the visitation which they will later present in Tory’s memory to Children’s Hospital.
