Terry Alexander, of Central City, PA, passed away in the presence of his wife, Theresa Alexander, on October 23rd, 2025, at the age of 75. Terry will be remembered for his easy laugh and the way he was always present for the people he loved.
He found his peace in the quiet early mornings spent fishing, time out on the lake, or a good game of Five Thousand Rummy shared with friends and family. From a young age, his life was marked by his love for the outdoors and the thrill of a good hunt—or simply being surrounded by God’s creation.
A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and NASCAR enthusiast, Terry never missed a chance for the excitement of cheering on his team or his favorite driver, Rusty Wallace.
Terry worked for 42 years at McQuaid's, where his dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He also had a knack for the little pleasures in life—camping, bowling, and a fondness for circus candy and potato candy that never faded. He passed many teachings on to those he loved: lessons about patience, respect, and the joy of slowing down to take in the beauty of the world. Those who knew him best will remember his humor, his stories, and his steady presence that made every gathering feel a little brighter.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his father, Charles W. Alexander; his mother, Mary Catherine (Spangler) Alexander; his beloved daughter, Terri Ann, whose memory he carried close to his heart; and his sister, Pamela Stern.
Terry leaves behind his loving wife, Theresa; his daughter, Lisa Peifer, and her husband, Charlie; his son, Chad Alexander, and his spouse, Jolene; his daughter Brittany Spory, and her spouse Jesse; his stepchildren, Tina Kline and her husband, Bob, Lori Hiner and her husband, Ric, and Timothy Shaffer. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Albert, and her companion, Mike, along with his cherished grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great grandchildren, who brought endless joy and pride to his life.
Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
