Susan (Hook) Lutsic

Lutsic, Susan (Hook), 90, Cairnbrook, passed away in her sleep July 11, 2019 in Dearborn, Michigan.  Born May 9, 1929 in #3 Central City, the daughter of Louis and Christine (Kocur) Hook.  Preceded in death by parents; husband of 52 years, Michael; son, Charles; sisters, Mary Filo, Kay Wojcik and Ann Hrinko; brothers, Michael, John and Paul (Dazzy) Hook.  Survived by sons, Richard (Linda), and Michael; granddaughters, Rachel (Raphael), Rebecca and Sarah; brother, Steve (Gibby), Ohio; loving nieces and nephews, Godson, Michael and Bebe, Sharon and Barry, Paul and Toni, Sandy and Paul, Randy, Mark, Susan and Greg, Diane and Grady, Jim, Larry, Ronald, Deborah and Mark, Norbert, Ann Marie, and Carol; and loving friends, Millie and Marge.  Married in 1950 at SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Greek Catholic Church in Central City, the couple moved to Michigan building a home in Grosse Isle in metro Detroit.  There they raised a family before retiring back to their hometown some 40 years later.  A supportive wife of a steelworker, Sue enjoyed cooking, being a homemaker and a loving mother raising her two sons.  After moving back to Cairnbrook, Mike and Sue enjoyed retirement and spending time with family. They also rejoined their church and took pride in being active members over the years.  Not one to talk about other people, Sue was loved by many over the years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home where Panachida will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, followed at 10 a.m. by Funeral Service at SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Very Rev.
