Magnone, Sue L., (Beachy) 95, Central City, passed away April 4, 2024, peacefully, at Windber Hospice. Born July 21, 1928 in Acosta, the daughter of John and Mary (Shimko) Beachy. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, William J. Sipe; second husband, Patsy; and seven sisters and three brothers. Survived by children Susan (Daniel) Dabbs, Central City; Camille (Richard) Berkey, Virginia; Philip, Florida. Grandchildren Josh (Amanda) Dabbs; Marisa and Nathan Berkey. Great grandchildren Carson and Molly Dabbs. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Formerly employed by Bedois Hardware Store. Devoted Windber Hospital volunteer for 18 years. Sue was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and hosting holiday events. Sue was a devout Catholic and member of Our Lady Queen of Angels Church (formerly Sacred Heart). Special thanks to her caregivers Marilyn, LuAnne, Steph, and Chris and to Dr. Craig Fockler and Dr. Tamara Hoffman for their kind and compassionate care. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Windber Hospice for the loving care she received. Donations to Windber Hospice are welcomed and encouraged in Sue’s memory. Friends will be received 4-8 pm Friday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home and Saturday at 10 am prior to 11 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church (Sacred Heart), Father Aron Maghsoudi Celebrant.
