Hook, Steve “Gibby” 92, Akron, OH, formerly of Central City, died September 13, 2025. Born August 29, 1933, the son of Louis and Christine (Kocur) Hook. Preceded in death by parents; wife Doris (Sellers); sisters: Mary (Filo), Kay (Wojcik), Ann (Hrinko), Sue (Lutsic); brothers: Mike, John, Paul (Dazzy). U.S. Army Veteran, retired from Ford Motors. Gibby leaves behind his son and best friend Mark and a large number of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Saturday from 9 am until the time of Panachida at 10 am at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Father Miles Zdinak and Father Elijah Bremer. Committal McGregor Cemetery. Graveside Military Rites by CC VFW Post.
