Stanley A. Pajak, age 77, affectionately known as "Buddy," passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2025, in Wilbur, Pennsylvania. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, Buddy spent most of his life in his hometown before relocating to Wilbur with his beloved wife, Rose (Marcus), in 2013.
Buddy had a lifelong passion for raising pigeons, earning him the nickname "The Pigeon Guy" among those who knew him. He worked diligently throughout his life as a crane operator and chemical worker. A proud veteran, Buddy served six years in the Air Force and National Guard. He often wore a cap that read "Viet Nam Vet," and he cherished the moments when strangers would thank him for his service. His dedication to helping others was evident through his active involvement with the VFW and the Polish Club of Central City, Pennsylvania.
Buddy was predeceased by his wife, Rose, and his parents, Stanley and Frances Pajak. He is survived by his sister, Dolores Menapace; her husband, Leon Menapace; and his niece, Jenna.
A cemetery service will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Central City, Pennsylvania and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Buddy's genuine spirit and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he find peace in a joyful reunion with Rose and his parents
