Rudy G. Chelednik

Chelednik, Rudy G., 82, Cairnbrook, died April 28, 2020 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.  Preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Mary (Ketchock); his wife, Elizabeth (Patrick); infant great-grandson, Colton Thomas Rush; and sister, Patricia.  Rudy is survived by his 2 sons, Craig and Thomas.  Craig’s wife Eileen (Coyle); grandsons, Rudy, wife Amanda (Allen), and Craig Jr.  Thomas’s wife Cindy (Smith); granddaughter, Morgan (Chelednik) Rush, husband Tyler; great-granddaughter, Carolina and grandson Noah.  Also survived by his brother Thomas, wife Ann May (Maddy), sister, Kim and special friend Louis Neff.  Rudy was an avid Fisherman and Golfer scoring 3 official Hole-In-Ones, 1 unofficial and enjoyed the company of the Senior League Golfers at Northwinds Golf Course.  A private service will be conducted by Father Aron Maghsoudi at Mulcahy Funeral Home in Central City.  Committal, Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.  Graveside military rites by Central City VFW and American Legion Posts.  In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make donations to Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 738 Sunshine Ave., Central City, PA 15926 in Rudy’s memory.  www.mmulcahyfuneralhome.com
