Rose M. Pasierb

Pasierb, Rose M., 92, formerly of Cairnbrook, passed on to heaven on October 20, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer.  Born April 8, 1924, the daughter of James and Helen Barna.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Stanley E. in 1990; son, Pierre in 2010; sisters, Margaret and Helen; and brothers, John and Joseph.  Survived by son, Jimmy; niece, Mary Jo (Albert) Ghantous; nephew, niece and caretakers, Ray and Judy Tomaszewski.  Rose spent the last five years making her home at Westmont Woods (formerly Presbyterian Home) with son Jimmy.  She was a stay at home mom and spent all her married life caring for her two special needs sons, Jimmy and Pierre.  Rose was active in her church, making many friends.  She will be remembered as a kind, soft spoken lady who was loved by all who knew her.  Rose will be missed by son Jimmy who looked to mom for everything.  We would like to thank the Westmont Woods staff and 365 Hospice for the care given Rose the last five years.  Family will receive friends after 9 a.m. Monday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home followed at 11 a.m. by a concelebrated Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Angels (Sacred Heart) Catholic Church, Father Brian Warchola and Father Aron Maghsoudi.  Committal, Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.  www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com.
