Frankosky, Patricia J., 80, Central City, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2022. Born March 9, 1942, daughter of Michael and Mary Adamets. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert; sisters, Shirley and MaryAnn; sister-in-laws, Fran and Ann; brother-in-laws, Bernie, Al, Del, Ed, and Walt. Survived by sons, Robert of Savannah, GA; Mark (Shannon) of Macungie, PA; daughter, Michele (Thomas) Balanda of York, PA; sisters, Frances and Eleanor; and brother, Michael. Also survived by grandchildren, Alexis, Joseph, Ryan, Robert, Anthony, and Hannah; close cousins, Karen and Steph; and numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia worked as a bank teller at Cenwest Bank for 26 years. In her early years, she worked as a secretary for the CIA in Washington D.C. and then at McIlwain Bus Co. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Her family was the most important to her. She was a loyal and loving mother. Pat enjoyed trips with her family and was able to visit all 50 states. She loved scratch off tickets, playing Uno, Monopoly, watching game shows and solving sudoku puzzles. She enjoyed watching the Steelers and Penn State. Her ultimate joy was having her family time. Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Final respects will be 9-10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel (St. John’s) with a 10 a.m. Mass, Father Aron Maghousdi Celebrant. Committal at St. John the Baptist cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a contribution to the Central City Senior Center.
