Ference, Michael "Ike", 100, Central City, died November 29, 2018. Born October 13, 1918, the son of Nicholas and Katherine (Bizik) Ference. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Olga; and these brothers and sisters, Anna, Metro, Mary, Charles, Helen, Frank, John, George, and Magdalene. Survived by daughter, Marcella (Michael) Hydock; grandson, Philip; and a number of nieces and nephews. Ike was a loving husband, father, and DeDe. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII serving with the 32nd Cavalry (Red Arrow Division), in the Pacific Theatre. Ike was a recipient of both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, where Parastas will be held at 6 p.m. Funeral service will be sung at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Father Elijah Bremer.
