Michael P. "Butchie" Goga

Goga, Michael P. “Butchie” 79, Cairnbrook, died peacefully surrounded by his family October 1, 2025. Born December 11, 1945, the son of Michael and Theresa Goga. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Jeanne and Lori. Survived by wife the former Dolores Gahagen; daughters: Christine (Dale) Edwards; Bonnie (Don) Fyfe; grandchildren: Brooke, Blake, Bryce, Taylor (Ben), Brady; great grandchildren: Asher and Henry along with numerous nieces and nephews and special cousin, John Goga. Butchie was a retired steelworker and a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved to fish, hunt, and collect classic cars. He will be missed at Goga’s every morning for coffee with the guys and driving the cleanest truck in town.  Friends and family will be received 4-6 pm Friday, October 3rd at the Mulcahy Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at SS Peter and Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Central City. Committal Daley Cemetery. Pastor Brett Witmer officiating. Graveside Military Rites by Central City VFW Post.
