Maynard D. Meyers

Meyers, Maynard D., 92, Central City, passed away August 1, 2019 at Windber Woods.  Born December 5, 1926, son of the late George and Pearl (McIntire) Meyers.  Preceded in death by these brothers and sisters; Earl, Don, Filgus, Carrie, Dorothy, Irene, Nettie, Faye and Alice.  Survived by sister, Mildred and many nieces and nephews, and best buddy, Linda’s dog, Alex.   Maynard enjoyed fishing, watching John Wayne movies, playing his harmonica and dancing with all the pretty ladies.  A member of all the social clubs in Central City and an honorary member of Central City Sportsmen.  Maynard spent his career working on the railroad and in the coal mines.  A special thanks to the Windber Woods staff for taking such good care of my uncle.  Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the Mulcahy Funeral home where Prayer Service will be held at 3 p.m., the Rev.
