Margaret Theresa Mauger

Mauger, Margaret Theresa, 95, Cairnbrook, died March 25, 2021 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born December 6, 1925, the daughter of John and Anna (Bubrick) Vargovcik. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Michael, who died in 1974; infant sister, Susan; sisters, Anna and Mary Bereznak, Helen Urda; and brother, John. Margaret was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by son, Michael, and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Lori (Eric) Harodetsky and Jennifer (Steve) Niel; Bubba to great-grandchildren, Emily, Madalyn, Chloe, Kylie, Brady, Isabella, and Kynlee. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Retired from Dorfman and Hoffman Garment Factory, Member of Our Lady Queen of Angels Church (formerly St. John’s), the Altar and Rosary Society, St. John’s choir, Ladies Guild, and the Society of Angels. Margaret enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, puzzles, feeding the birds, and sitting on her porch. “She was small but mighty.” The family would like to thank Anita and Marianne for their help. Friends will be received from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, at the Mulcahy Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady Queen of Angels, Father Aron Maghsoudi.
