Margaret E. (Bicko) Matey

Matey, Margaret E., 93, Cairnbrook, died October 11, 2015 at the Church of the Brethren Home.  Born May 23, 1922, the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Gabrick) Bicko.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, George D.; sister, Ann; brothers, Andrew and John.  Survived by sister-in-law, Mary Bicko of Johnstown; nephews, David (Shelly), Richard (Lisa), Jeffrey, and Brian (LaToya), all of Johnstown; great nieces and nephews, Brent, Lara, Tara, Haley and Logan.  Margaret was a member of the Rosary Society, the Legion of Mary, and the Altar Sacristan for 44 years.  Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Father Brian Warchola.  Committal St. John the Baptist Cemetery.  The family would like to thank the staff at the Church of the Brethren Home for their dedicated care.  www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com
