Hawrylak, Margaret M. 101, Cairnbrook, died November 16, 2023 at home. Born September 20, 1922 the daughter of John and Anna Kalmer. Preceded in death by parents; husband Andy; son Andrew; six sisters; two brothers; son-in-law Keith Higgins. Survived by daughter Marian Higgins; grandchildren Julia (Brian) Taylor; Matthew (Melissa) Higgins; Nathan (Stacy) Higgins; Maggie (Frank) Adomnik; great grandchildren Ava, Hannah, Zachary, Reese, Jack, Emilia, Isla, Christian, Anna, Bastian, and Damian; also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and special friend John Topka. Retired ILGWU and lifelong member of Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (St. John’s). She was a faithful servant of the Lord, active in the Altar and Rosary Society, Society of the Little Flower, Association of the Miraculous Medal, and a devout Mary promoter. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Queen of Angels (St. John’s) Father Aron Maghsoudi, Celebrant. Committal St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
