Judith A. Penrod

Judith “Judy” Penrod, 77, of Windber, PA, died April 21, 2025 at home surrounded by family.  Born July 29, 1947, to Earl and Marguerite Ogline in Somerset, PA.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Ray, Dale and two infant brothers.  Judy graduated from Somerset High School in 1965.  She is survived by her husband, Norman “Bud”; daughter, Stacy Orner (Eric); son, Scott (Stacy); grandsons, Jacob and Jared Kaufman and Matthew Orner (Cheyenne); granddaughters, Samantha Orner (Tanner) and Laiken Orner; great grandchildren; Sage, Kane and Nova; brother, Larry (Nancy) Ogline and sisters Joyce (John) Brant and Karen Henry. Judy was a member of Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church where she worked as the church secretary for many years before retirement.  She enjoyed camping and spending the winters in Florida where she was surrounded by many friends.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.  Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM followed by Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. at Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church, Horn Road in Windber, PA.
