James F. Mihelcic

Mihelcic, James F., 80, Central City, died July 17, 2023. Born January 20, 1943, the son of Frank and Mary (Lutsic) Mihelcic. Preceded in death by parents and brother Frank. Survived by brother, Larry; sister-in-law, Patty; and a number of nieces and nephews. Jim was a retired R.N., former mayor of Central City, and a 25 year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. Friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Mulcahy Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Queen of Angels (Sacred Heart), Father Larry Lacovic, Celebrant. Committal St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Graveside military rites by the Central City VFW Post.
