Konitsky, James H. 80, Central City, died June 18, 2024 peacefully at Windber Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Born February 8, 1944, the son of Stanley and Rose (Kieta) Joebon Konitsky. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife Harriet (Pudge); infant daughter, Brenda; brothers, Edward, Stanley, and Walter Joebon, Donald (Doner) Konitsky Sr.; sister, Betty (Konitsky) Shank; niece, Rose Marie (Shank) McGinnis; and beloved pet, Harley. Survived by beloved pet, Jake; son, James H. Jr. married to the former Kimberly Fleegle; brother, Bobby; and brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Jim was a retired steelworker and U.S. Army Veteran. Friends who wish may make donations to Windber Hospice in Jim's memory. Private arrangements.
