James R. Custer

Custer, James R., 81, Cairnbrook, died May 29, 2020 at home.  Born August 23, 1938, the son of Richard and Hazel Custer.  Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Gene and Gerald.  Survived by wife of 61 years, Dorothy; children, Donald J. (Shelli), Richard W. (Karen), Donna M. (Marlin) Miller, Mark A. (Lori), and Anthony S.; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dolly (Calvin) Becker, and Audrey (Marlin) Edwards, and brother, David (Denise).  Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He loved being in his garage and tinkering with cars. An avid fisherman, he truly enjoyed camping and boating with his family.  Private visitation will be held at the Mulcahy Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Central City Assembly of God, Pastor Philip Sinclair officiating.  Interment, Daley Cemetery.  www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com.
