James F. Brady

Brady, James F., 75, Fort Washington, MD, formerly of Shanksville, died May 11, 2017 at home.  Son of the late Joseph and Gladys Brady.  Preceded in death by son, James Brady Jr.; brother, Carl Brady; and nephews, Mark Petro and Paul Brady.  Survived by wife of 53 years, Mary (Lucas); son, Scott, both of Fort Washington, MD; sister, Betty (Joe) Petro, Berlin; brother, Robert, Shanksville; brother-in-law, Andy (Lillian) Lucas, Central City; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed many trips to hunting camp and spending time on his boat throughout the years.  He loved coming to Pennsylvania to spend time with family over the holidays and looked forward to Fourth of July picnics in New Baltimore.  Jim was a member of the carpenters union for over 50 years before retiring.  Friends and family will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City.  Schellsburg Cemetery graveside service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Father Aron Maghsoudi. www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com.
