Leppert, Ida B., 94, Central City, died May 12, 2016. Born December 16, 1921, the daughter of Orange and Bessie Custer. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Fred; and siblings, Nellie, Marie, Margaret, Edna, Irma, Kermit and Joey. Survived by children, Beverly Jean (Daniel) Bulger, Donna Stefancic, Roger “Tom” (Elizabeth), and Charles (Deborah); 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Sister of Jeanette Frazier, Virginia Nagle, Beverly Penrod and Marion (George) Evans. Ida owned and operated Leppert’s Service Station and also the Leppert Bus Service, serving the Shade School District for 41 years. She traveled with the Black Diamond Drum and Bugle Corps and even drove coal truck in her younger years. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Earl Crissman. Committal Berkey Cemetery.
