Howard S. Frede

Frede, Howard S. 75, of Cairnbrook, died January 16, 2026. Born June 22, 1950 in Bronx, NY, the son of Henry & Dorothy Frede.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Walter, and granddaughter Melissa.

Survived by his wife Frances, children Kevin, Jennifer, John & Howard, grandson Aaron, brother Henry & sister Dorothy.

Howard was a US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam war, and recipient of the Bronze Star. Howard was an awesome drum player, a huge fan of NASCAR, and could usually be found in his garage working on a car or truck

Howard was a loving husband of 54 years, an amazing father of four. He was dedicated to providing for his family. A loyal husband and devoted father, Howard will live on in the hearts of everyone whose life he touched.

Service will be held on Saturday January 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Central City Methodist Church, 704 Lohr Street Central City, PA. Military Rites by Central City VFW Post.
