Henry Richard Burket

Henry Richard Burket, 81, of Cairnbrook, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at Windber Woods. He was born on May 6th, 1944 in Cairnbrook. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Sr. and Arlene Burket. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Kathleen (Berkey); his children, Teri (Marlin Edwards), Tammy (Nick Knorr), Richard (Carol), and Thomas (Victoria). Also survived by: his brothers, Melvin (Susan), Bill (Emma), and Wayne; his grandchildren, Jessica (Eric Reckner), Gregory (Jami), Leanne (Heath Mankamyer), Shane Edwards, Mitchell Edwards (Brianna), Kyle Weaver (Jordan), Zackary (Chelsea), Brett Edwards (Kaija), Ashley Malkin (Shane Sheldon), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Henry was a supervisor of PBS Coals Inc. at the Shade plant in Central City for 33 years. When he was not working, he loved spending time with his family at camp. He enjoyed doing anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, mowing grass, bowling in a league, and taking his beloved dog Sophie for walks around Cairnbrook and talking to all the neighbors. Henry most loved holidays, especially decorating his house for Christmas to spend time with his family.
