Harold E. Custer; “Harv, Howie,” 60, Central City, passed away at home on March 5, 2026. Born April 18, 1965, the son of Harold and Mary( Bender). Preceded in death by parents; grandparents Kenneth and Grace (Boyer); aunt, Ruby Chapman, Levittown; uncle, Lester Custer, Berlin. Survived by his wife, the former Debbie Charlton; son, Brett and daughter, Ashley; son in law, David Edwards; brother, Daniel "Boone"; his two grandbabies, the lights of his life of whom he spoiled, Kaydence and Kaison Edwards; uncle, Kenneth (Mert)
Harold proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he attended boot camp at Camp Lejeune He recently retired from PennDot. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and muscle cars. He was a member of the VFW and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club. He was a Nascar and NFL fan. He loved telling stories of the days gone by and all that he accomplished.

There will be no viewing. A military send off will be scheduled at a later date. Semper Fi.
