George S. Pasierb

Pasierb, George, S., 74, Central City, died November 9, 2020. Born April 29, 1946, the son of the late Stanley and Anna (Muha) Pasierb. Survived by wife of 50 years, the former Dolores Gumbita; daughters, Lisa (Arthur Jr.) McClucas and Lora (Robert) Gimble; son, Marc; grandchildren, Hana, Ian, and Isaac; brothers, Richard (Dianne) and Michael; also a number of nieces and nephews. George was a retired teacher and football coach in the Shade – Central City School District. A former PIAA official. A member of the St. John’s/Sacred Heart Holy Name Society and the Central City Borough Council. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (Sacred Heart), where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, Father Aron Maghsoudi.
