George M. Napora

Napora, George M., 76, Central City, died October 13, 2016. Born May 7, 1940, the son of Julius Sr. and Mary (Sandusky) Napora. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Julius, Joseph, and John; sisters-in-law, Betty Lou and Ruthie; brother-in-law, Rocky. Survived by wife, the former Ann Louise (Hunchie) Kubek; son George and wife Joan; daughter Connie, wife of Gary Berkey. Grandchildren, Garrett (Kennedy), Brittany, and Mitch. Brother of Lillian Shima, Elton; Carol Gibbons, Cairnbrook. Godchildren, Lee Fetsko, Lorraine Napora, Kenny Gibbons, Mark Landis, and Matthew Napora. Also survived by many dear in-laws, nieces, and nephews. George was a Shade High School Graduate Class of 1959. He was manager for Acme Markets and retired from PBS Coals. A member of St. John the Baptist Society, Central City VFW, and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.   Monday at Our Lady Queen of Angels (Sacred Heart), Father Aaron Maghsoudi. Committal SS Peter & Paul’s Orthodox Cemetery.
