Johnston, George A., 72, Central City, died November 4, 2020. Born January 28, 1948, the son of Charles and Helen (Harris) Johnston. Preceded in death by parents; and stepson, David. Survived by wife, Jackie; daughter, Adina (Franklin) Alderson; step-daughters, Michelle Plants and Rebecca (Jeffrey) Kuhns; grandchildren, Christopher, Frankie Rose, Megan, Shaniah, Ryan, Jared, and Kelsie; brothers, Richard (Leah), James (Linda), Jerry (Pat); and a number of nieces and nephews. Retired pipefitter with over 50 years of service and member of Local 798. Member of Central City Fire Department serving as a fire policeman. An avid hunter and fisherman. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Central City United Methodist Church, Pastor Heidi Helsel officiating. Committal, Glade Cemetery.
