Frances Nivinski

Nivinski, Frances, 96, Cairnbrook, died September 28, 2017.  Born January 13, 1921, the daughter of John and Frances (Yuko) Milavec.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, John; siblings, John, Mary, Andy and infant Louise.  Survived by daughters, Joan, Cairnbrook; Carol (Chris) Williams, England; and Fran (Tom) Chiappelli, Cairnbrook; brother, Joe, Central City; and sister, Chris, Cairnbrook.  Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews who will have fond memories of visiting with Aunt Fran.  Frances was widowed at the age of 41 when her husband was killed in a mining accident.  She raised her three young daughters to be independent and college educated, fulfilling her and her husband’s wishes.  She loved her Slovenian buttonbox polka music and also loved to laugh.  She enjoyed gardening, baking and crocheting.  She also enjoyed her trips to England to visit her daughter and son-in-law.  The family would like to thank all of her caregivers, especially Theresa, Beth and Barb.  Private family visitation will be held at the Mulcahy Funeral Home.  Private committal service at SS.
