Elizabeth (Ferko) Yuko

Yuko, Elizabeth, 94, formerly of Cairnbrook, died October 5, 2019 at Windber Woods.  Born May 18, 1925, the daughter of John and Mary (Hrapchak) Ferko.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Louis; son, Jack; granddaughter, Stephanie Roman; grandson, Christopher Maddy; and nine brothers and sisters.  Elizabeth was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She is survived by daughters, Susan (Ed) Maddy; and Marie (Daniel) Roman; grandchildren, Jennifer Maddy (Steve); and Christopher (Sierra) Roman; four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  A special thank you to the staff at Windber Woods fifth station and 365 Hospice for the compassionate care of our mother and grandmother.  Private arrangements by the Mulcahy Funeral Home.  Friends who wish may make donations to Windber Woods Activities Department in Elizabeth’s memory.  www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com.
