Dorothy A. Nowak

Nowak, Dorothy A., 91, Central City, died May 2, 2022. Born June 7, 1930, the daughter of Andrew and Anna Balog. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph; five sisters; one brother; a granddaughter; son-in-law, Richard. Survived by children, Debra (Rudolf) Acs; Cynthia Hunt; Ronald (Marie) Nowak; six grandsons; three great grandsons; two great granddaughters; sister, Mildred Schneider; brother, Andrew Balog, Jr.; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Richland Woods and Windber Hospice, especially Danielle for the loving care given to Dorothy. Friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Graef Lutheran Church, Paster Jeff Bassette officiating. Committal McGregor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to Windber Hospice.
