Dominick Sanzo

Sanzo, Dominick, 104, Central City, died May 24, 2026 at Hollidaysburg VA. Born May 19, 1922, the son of Vito and Carmella Sanzo.

Preceded in death by parents; wife Mary Ethel; daughters Donna and Teresa; son Rick; sisters: Pearl, Jean, Carol, Shirley, Teresa, Betty, Dorothy.

Survived by son Robert (Darlene); grandchildren: Trina (Dan), Robert A. (Trista), Eric; great grandchildren: Jayda, Cadence, Brayden, Adalynn; also survived by brother Joe and a number of nieces and nephews.

Dominick was a member of UMWA Local 6410, retiring from Rietz Coal Co. He was a US Army Vetern of WWII and the last surviving charter member of VFW Post 7457.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Angels (Sacred Heart), Father Aron Maghsoudi. Committal Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Graveside Military Rites by CC VFW.
