Whited, Delmont C., 97, Indiana, formerly of Central City, died January 14, 2023. Born October 10, 1925, the son of Leland and MaryAnn Whited. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Ruth; brother, Ken; sister, Eleanor Landis. Survived by children, Keith (Karen); Claudia (Brian) Curry; Rodney (Beverly); grandchildren, Andrew; Sarah (Jeremy); Melissa (Douglas); Logan (Holly); Brendon; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Electa Newmeyer; and a number of nieces and nephews. Delmont was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, member of Graef Lutheran Church and Shade Lions Club. He was a retired Allstate Insurance Agent and worked many years for Galliker’s Dairy. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home. Graveside service to follow at Walker Cemetery, Shanksville, David Klavuhn officiating.
