Childers-Graham, Daisy Marie (Boyer) went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Born October 13, 1935, Daisy was the daughter of George and Florence (Wentz) Boyer. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Evelyn (Boyer) McVicker and Dorothy Boyer; first husband, Paul Childers, Sr.; second husband, Theo Graham; her daughter, Donna; great granddaughter, Sierra Bereider. Daisy’s three sons, Paul, Sam and George were the light of her life. She is survived by her sons, Paul Childers, Jr. and wife, Tracey of Central City; George Childers of Central City; and Sam Childers and wife, Justine of Africa; Grandchildren, Paul Childers, Barb Bereider, George Childers, Raquel Wilson, Olivia Johnson, Paige Weyant, Megan Fair, Sean Oaks and Jack Oaks. She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved going to church, playing the piano and her accordion, and reading her Bible. She was known as “Grandma Daisy” and well known for her chocolate chip cookies. She made anyone who came into her home feel loved and welcome and was very proud of her family. The family would like to thank the staff at Meadowview Nursing Home and the nurses who cared for her from Hospice. A viewing for friends and family will be held at 3 C’s Church, 165 Boyer’s Pond, Central City, from 3-5 pm and 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Friends and family may also view Grandma Daisy prior to the funeral from 12-1 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. The funeral will be held at 1 pm at the 3 C’s Church, Central City. Interment will be held at McGregor Cemetery, Cairnbrook, PA.
