Christine Milavec

Milavec, Christine “Chris” 88 Cairnbrook, died July 2, 2023. Born July 22, 1934, the daughter of John and Frances (Yuko) Milavec. Preceded in death by parents and these brothers and sisters: Frances, John, Mary, Andrew, and infant sister Louise. Survived by brother Joseph and sister-in-law Rosella. Also survived by a number of loving nieces and nephews. A special Thank-You to the staff of Arbutus Park Manor for the kind and compassionate care of our aunt and a Thank-You to Windber Hospice. Chris spent her younger years working at the family store. She is a retired garment worker then went on to become a nurse's aide. Friends will be received from 10 am until time of Funeral Mass 11 am Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Angels (Sacred Heart). Father Aron Maghsoudi celebrant. Committal Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
