Chris A. Chappell

Chappell, Chris A., 53, Greensburg, formerly of Cairnbrook, died August 25, 2019 at UPMC Shadyside.  Born April 26, 1966, the son of Charles and Verna (Youhas) Chappell. Preceded in death by mother and brother, Charles.  Survived by wife, Linda; children, Cassidy, Billy, Kenny, Tammy and Christa; father, Charles (Red); brothers, Michael and Eric (Dixie).  Also survived by Henry and Marion Zurenda and a number of nieces and nephews.  Chris was a 1983 graduate of Shade High School and quarterbacked the 1982 championship team.  He loved spending time with his family, especially daughter Cassidy.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City where Panachida will be held at 7 p.m.  Funeral Service will be sung at 10 a.m. Friday at SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, the Very Rev.
