Charles Lynwood Blackburn

Blackburn, Charles Lynwood, 94, Central City, died March 22, 2017 at home.  Born January 8, 1923, the son of William and Cora Blackburn.  Preceded in death by parents; son, William; two sisters, four brothers, and devoted pet, Savannah.  Survived by wife, the former Elizabeth Patronik; and a number of loving nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City.  Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Central City United Methodist Church (where Din and Liz lay claim to being the oldest members).  Pastor John Hickman, officiating.  Committal Schellsburg Cemetery.  www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com.
