Caylan Dakota Purdy

Purdy, Caylan Dakota “Cody”, 18, Central City, died July 24, 2017, at home.  Born June 14, 1999, the son of Douglas A. and Mary G. (Laney) Purdy.  Survived by parents; siblings, Jossalyn, Gavin and Madisyn; grandparents, Nancy Purdy; Thomas and Valerie Laney; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Cody loved music and played in county, district, and regional band, as well as marching in The Keystone Regiment and Bugle Corps. He also loved fishing and hunting.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m.  Friday at Life Church of Windber, Pastor Richard Smith, officiating.  Committal, Berkey Cemetery.  www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com.
