Lasut, Catherine Belle, 100, Cairnbrook, died September 17, 2024. Born April 27, 1924 in Cairnbrook, PA, daughter of Scott and Margaret (Shaffer) Wagner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Rudy; sister, Mary Jane Whitehill; brothers, Lee and Warren; great great grandson Alex. Survived by son Lawrence Hutchinson; sister, Rena Russian; granddaughters, Lori (Matt) Wagner, Dawn (Keith) Fochtman, Karen (William) Morrison; great grandchildren, Elisa, Joshua, Lyndsey, Marissa, Jeremy; great great grandchildren, Ethan, Mackenzie, Tatiana, Jordan, Jared, Hailey, Chance and Fiona. Worked 30 years for ILGWU as a seamstress. Member of Graef Lutheran Church where she participated in the choir, New Baltimore Sportsman, and a life member of Hooversville Post 7565 VFW. She loved to travel, was an avid bowler with domestic engineers, and card shark. Kay loved spending time with family and friends and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Her family held a grand celebration for her 100th birthday attended by all who loved her. Kay always had a smile on her face and kindness in her heart. Family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
