James and Keith C. Colvin; brother William (Bill) Gahagen, sister Harriet (Pudge) Konitsky, brother-in-law James Konitsky and sister-in-law Doris (Scaife) Gahagen. Survived by children; Debra A. Formerly employed at Walmart in Johnstown as a clerk in fabrics and crafts. Carol loved to cook and bake for her family. She was an excellent caregiver, even driving friends to doctor appointments up until the day before her death. She was known for many delicious meals, making sure no one left hungry and was known for her family famous orange rolls, which she had perfected and are near impossible to duplicate. She had a great talent for crafting, sewing and for decorating her home. Her love for her family was always first and foremost. She always put everyone ahead of herself and had a kind and generous heart and truly would give her very last penny or morsel of food to anyone in need. We will miss her hugs, her smile, her silly humor and her love. Carol enjoyed spending time, shopping and grabbing lunch with her girls and her sister, Dolores and was actively growing in her faith in the Lord. She was looking forward to going to Florida this fall with her son, Jim to spend a few months.
Mom's absence will be sorely missed by her family and friends, but we rejoice in knowing that she is reunited with loved ones who have journeyed home ahead of her.
John 11:24 "Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
25 "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
26 “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
