Calvin Ray Becker

Becker, Calvin Ray Sr., 87, Central City, "passed away peacefully surrounded in love with his loved ones at his side" on April 20, 2025. Born July 14, 1937, the son of Orville and Olive Becker. Preceded in death by parents and eight siblings. Survived by wife of 68 years, the former Dolly Mae Custer (daughter of Richard and Hazel Custer); son Calvin R. Becker Jr. married to the former Jeanette Tutokey, Clemson, SC; daughter Dianna, wife of Robert Rapsky, Central City; Grandchildren: Ryan, Pendelton,SC; Sarah (Michael) Snyder, Jacksonville, NC; Kristina (Cody) Adams, Bozeman, MT; Michael and Matthew, both of Clemson, SC; Steven (Jenna) Hampstead, MD; Jonathan, Central City; Great grandchildren: George, Emma, Philip, Walker, Madison and Ava. Also survived by brother Claire, Windber. Retired Bethlehem Steel with over 40 years of service. Calvin was an avid card shark, game board player, golfer and bowler (in various men's leagues), but he truly loved spending time with family and friends. He attended the Central City Assembly of God where service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, Pastor Philip Sinclair. Committal McGregor Cemetery.
