Barbara Ann Lusczek

Lusczek, Barbara Ann, “Baba”, Windber, died September 14, 2017.  Born on August 30, 1941 in Windber, daughter of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Schweikowski) Ruby.  Called to be with our Lord and reunited with her love, best friend and husband, Robert D. Lusczek Sr. of 47 years.  Survived by children, Robert D. Jr. and wife Teresa (Walerysiak), Virginia; Bernard A. and wife Beth Ann, Central City; Christopher A. and wife Kena (Peacock), Maryland; Barbara L. Brzana and husband Michael, Windber; and Erika L. George and husband Robert, Johnstown; grandchildren, Jacob, Kaleb, Brittany, Bernadette, Bridgette, Dylan, Cody, Greta and Derek; and great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Oliver.  Sister of Theodore Ruby and wife Greta, New Jersey; sister-in-law of James Lusczek and wife Linda, Virginia; and Jeanette Dilicchio and husband Raymond, South Carolina.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was a member of the Polish Falcons, Nest 97 as an officer, Polish Falcons Bowling League as an avid bowler and officer, and member of the Polish Heritage Council and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.  Barbara was devoted to the Lord and love.  She showed this in her life, marriage and family.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, Fr.
