Orban, Anne, 93, Central City, died January 12, 2016 at home. Born January 2, 1923, the daughter of Evan and Luba Chulick. Preceded in death by parents, husband Eugene and these brothers and sisters; Evan, Steve, Sally Slonac, Diane Zolar and Charles. Anne was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Thomas (Nancy), Somerset; and Kathy Hintosh, Cairnbrook; grandchildren, Cherie (Bill), Mandy (Brad) and Travis; great-grandchild, Logan. Anne was a retired nurse having worked at hospitals in Pittsburgh, Johnstown and Windber. She was a member of the former St. John’s Ladies Guild and enjoyed singing in St. John’s choir. The family would like to thank the staff at the Church of the Brethren Home and our dear friends who helped us with the care of our mother. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel (St. John’s), Father Brian Warchola, celebrant.
