Ann Louise Wojcik-Miller, 73, Central City, passed away peacefully October 26, 2025 at home following a courageous battle with Alzheimer's dementia. Ann was born in Central City to Walter and Ann Louise (Balog) Wojcik. She graduated from Shade High School then completed training as a dental assistant. She had an extraordinary talent for creating stained glass art, and an undying passion for animal rescue.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Janice Stahl. She is survived by her husband, Edgar E. Miller Sr. They were married seven years ago and have been together for over 30 years. Ann is survived by her mother-in-law Janet Lear of Florida. She is further survived by her step-children: Rebecca, Hollie, Edgar (Carol) and Melodie (Jason) of Erie, PA and Sonia (James) and Leo (Ashley) of Florida. She had 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Brothers-in-law: Barry (Peggy), Brian (Susan) and the late James (Debra). Ann is also survived by her Uncle John Wojcik (Mary-Ellen) of Central City and their children John Jr. and Megan (Jake) Dabbs of Central City.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mulcahy Funeral Home. At the request of the family, there will no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local animal rescue or shelter in memory of Annie.
Ann's family would like to sincerely thank the Staff at Heartland Hospice for their loving care. Their assistance allowed Annie to spend her last days, in the home she loved, with her husband, Ed.
