Andrew J. Medva

Medva, Andrew J., 59, Central City (Indian Lake), died March 7, 2016.  Born March 30, 1956, the son of Valentine F. and Helen (Pribulsky) Medva.  Preceded in death by father-in-law, Robert Tremel.  Survived by wife of 35 years, the former Margaret (Margi) Tremel; parents, Val and Helen; children; Drew, and wife Rebecca, Pittsburgh;  Jaime, wife of Greg Evans, Somerset; and Kyle of Berlin; grandchildren, Tristan and Isabella Medva, and Seth Evans; brother, John and wife Shari; mother-in-law, Margaret; and two nephews and one niece.  Andy was an avid hunter and fisherman and truly loved sports.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, and Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Buckstown, Pastor David Bowman officiating.  Private committal.  In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to the Arthritis Research Foundation at curearthritis.org.  (www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com)
