Albert McKolosky

McKolosky, Albert, 83, Central City, was called home to be with the Lord on January 23,2017, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born January 28, 1933, son of the late Frank and Anna (Kolosky) McKolosky.  Preceded in death by wife, Jessie; sisters, Evelyn Bonus and Patricia Pietrocarlo.  Albert was a veteran of the Korean War, a respected teacher for 35 years before his retirement at Shade Central City School District and a lifelong member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and present day Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish in Central City.  Albert served his parish for many years as a lector and councilman.  He was a man of deep faith and ready to answer the call of his Lord.  Albert will be sadly missed by his surviving sons, Dennis and Mark; daughters-in-law, Tyrene and Holly; grandsons, Justin, Nick, David and Broc; granddaughter, Brittni; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Knox; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, and one hour prior to a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Angels (Sacred Heart) Catholic Church, Father Brian Warchola.  Family suggests donations be made to Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church.  Graveside Military Rites by Central City VFW and American Legion Posts.  Committal, Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.  www.mulcahyfuneralhome.com.
