Alan Klonisky Obituary

Klonisky, Alan J., 74, Central City, died July17, 2017.  Born February 2, 1943, the son of Joseph and Helen Klonisky.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, Betty Lou; brothers-in-law, George Napora and Eddie Andolina.  Survived by daughter, Sherry Lynn (Fred) Shaw; granddaughter, Fallon;  great-grandchild, Kayden; sister, Carol Andolina; in-laws, Mary Ann and Andy Muha, Hunchie Napora, and Michael and Donna Kubek.  Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and devoted pets, Simba and Buddie.  Retired foreman of U.S. Steel, Johnstown Works.  The former owner of the Black Nugget, and a very active member of the community, serving on various boards and organizations.  Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, where Panachida will be sung at 7 p.m. A brief service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, followed at 10 a.m. by Funeral Service at SS Peter and Paul’s Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, The Very Rev.
